Recounting from JHS, I served in many leadership roles, including assistant school prefect, not for the fun of it but because it bothers me when I see students' dreams shut down due to financial constraints, among others. I decided to use my leadership passion to support the fulfillment of students' dreams, both directly and through the assistance I gave to the school staff. I became very troubled when some of my close friends were unable to make it to senior high school. Even though they had good grades, the drive, and the will to continue to SHS, they didn't have the money to go (by then, there wasn't free SHS). Their dreams started dying! I decided to continue being an inspiration to help students achieve their dreams, and so again, at SHS, I served in several roles, including the senior school prefect (SRC president). By the grace of God and by taking my studies seriously, I ranked 1st in my whole year batch after our first year exams, and I was awarded a scholarship (by then, there was no free SHS). I continued being serious until completion and was one of the four KETABUSCO students KNUST gave free admissions to (by then, I was already at the University of Cape Coast and so didn't go to KNUST). At that point too, I was troubled again to see some close friends unable to make it to the university. This time around, some didn't have money to go to the university, while others didn't have the money to write NovDec to think about furthering their studies at the university. Remember, because I served in eight different leadership positions from JHS to SHS, I knew most of my friends, and most of them knew me too. Most great minds and dreams were dying due to financial constraints. The dying of individuals' dreams will eventually mean the dying of our country, Ghana. I decided to make my leadership passion a solution to this problem, no matter how small my contributions may be. At the university, too, I served in eight different leadership offices. And a notable policy of mine is the Opportunity Desk (meant to assist students with scholarships, internships, etc.). At some points, others and I had to contribute to support friends' education. Having had much exposure, I see the future of Ghana die when young people's dreams die. The future of Ghana is determined by the future of our children and students. If we help them have a bright future, Ghana will have a bright future. That is why I see the urgency of helping our students with Success Center Educational Services, removing all financial and accessibility barriers. Success Center is not here to collapse current Vacation Class Centers in your vicinities. We like what they do too, and we wish you could all join them. ..but ... Is it everyone who is able to afford it? You can relate to the price difference. Is it all parents and guardians who have the financial muscle to pay GHC 400, 500, etc. and still, at times, give their wards either T&T or pocket money, or both, for these classes throughout the vacation? You can relate; at Success Center, you only need a bundle with your smart phone or device. Many others! *We are happy some are able to afford it.* What about the majority who are not able to afford these for their wards? Their wards' dreams now start being in danger! And this, dreams being in danger or dying, is what we want to prevent with Success Center Educational services. Let's all join hands to ensure the fulfillment of our students' dreams of becoming lawyers, teachers, bank managers, presidents, etc. What they become determines nothing less than the future of our country. Thank you very much, everybody. God bless you for being here. Feel free to message me if you have any comments or concerns. I am Israel Hahayi, and this is why I founded Success Center.
